Galimberti's works have been reproduced on environmentally friendly cellulose and textile fibre-based substrates breathable, lightweight and odourless, yet water-repellent and fire-resistant. The subjects portrayed are resized to match the surfaces, resulting in a decorative and visually striking effect.
A medium of artistic expression as well as a means of telling a story, Maurizio Galimberti's photography lends itself both to conveying suggestions that draw on the world of entertainment in the most general sense of the term, ranging from film to music to dance.

At Luxusin the gardens of the Venice Biennale, some of the artist's works will remain on display 13 May to 26 November 2017. His reinterpretation of The Minuet by Giandomenico Tiepoloan insight into Venetian life at the end of the 18th century, will play a central role in the exhibition.
