Worldwide, the number of design studies, both national and international, who choose Italian tiles to cover the interior, exterior and common spaces of apartament building and residential complexes, especially in the North America. Following this trend, the Encino Valley Villa project in Southern California, made use of the tiles of Refin Ceramicswinning, along with six other projects,
the honourable mention of the 2019 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition, the competition that rewards the innovative use of Italian tiles in architecture and design in North America.
Encino is a neighbourhood located in the San Fernando Valley, a posh area in northwest Los Angeles County, characterised by a architectural environment with large, luxurious houses of mostly contemporary Spanish design.
The decision to install Italian ceramics and tiles came from the consideration that their elegance and design are in tune with the dynamic taste, climate and style of California, and that the quality of Made in Italy products is a guarantee and added value for the customer.
