With CIRCULAR, Listone Giordano, a reference brand in the high-end wood flooring sector, transforms the floor concept into a symbol of sustainable innovation. This project integrates designtechnology and respect for the environment, promoting a circular economy model in which materials and resources are used and valorised to create high quality products.
A European tour to promote the circular economy
After a successful premiere at the Milan Furniture FairCIRCULAR is now touring Europe. The aim? To raise public awareness of the potential of the circular economy and to show how sustainable technology applied to wood surfaces can really make an impact in our daily lives. Two products represent the heart of this project, each with its own distinct soul: one industrial and the other natural.
GraphitThe industrial soul of the Graphit project is the result of a collaboration with Alisea, an Italian company that is a pioneer in the re-use of materials. This floor integrates recycled graphite from industrial waste, offering a virtuous model of circular economy. Graphite, collected from industrial electrode waste, is transformed into materials for designer flooringmaintaining the quality and aesthetics of the Listone Giordano collections.
This solution not only reduces disposal costs, but also helps decouple economic activity from the consumption of non-renewable resources, thus contributing to a more sustainable economy.
The Graphit Slide and Atelier Desir Special Edition collections, respectively designed by Daniele Lago and inspired by De Chirico's work The Seer, interpret the geometries of wood in a contemporary and sustainable key, with an aesthetic change that adds an innovative and refined touch.
Terre di Vigna: nature becomes design
The other side of CIRCULAR is represented by Terre di Vigna, a floor covering resulting from the collaboration with Passoni Design. In this project, wine and marc
are used to colour wood through a unique patented process.
The chemical reaction between the marc and iron oxides creates a natural selfcolouration of the wood, resulting in refined and valuable nuances.
This emission-free method makes Terre di Vigna a sustainable work of art and a tribute to the beauty of nature.
In the Terre di Vigna - Medoc and Atelier Special Edition collection, the floor Medocdesigned by architect Michele De Lucchi, celebrates the link between Italy and France, evoking the atmosphere of the forests of Burgundy and the vineyards of Bordeaux.
The Mirantico Filo di Lama finish adds depth and character, reinterpreting the antique style of wooden floors with a modern, sophisticated aesthetic.
A message of sustainability and Made in Italy
For Listone Giordano, the CIRCULAR project is not just an expression of technological innovation, but a commitment to genuine sustainability.
"Innovation for us is not just about technology," explains Andrea Margaritelli, Listone Giordano Brand Manager, "but also respect for the environment and a
forward-looking vision of corporate values."
In this project, the company does not merely present a logo or a product, but stands as a witness to a wood culture that combines knowledge, aesthetics and sustainability.
Susanna Martucci, founder of Alisea, shares this vision. For her, recycled graphite represents a resource of extraordinary value, transforming an industrial waste into an opportunity for design and sustainability. This collaboration is a concrete example of circular economy and Made in Italy.
Also Tommaso Passoni, fourth generation of Passoni Design, expresses its enthusiasm for Terre di Vigna: "With this project, we wanted to combine tradition and innovation to create floors that reflect a deep culture for wood and nature." Natural wine colours give the product an authentic and precious touch that embodies the values of excellence and quality.
The Special Edition: an exclusive concept
Listone Giordano's Special Edition collections are designed for a select audience of professionals and designers. Each capsule collection aims to stimulate
interest in a unique product, enhancing the unexpressed potential of wood and its continuous dialogue with innovation and research.
This exclusive proposal aims to create fascination and desire around the purchase of flooring of the highest quality and sustainability, capable of telling a story and best embodying the values of Made in Italy.
