From the meeting between Andrea Mancuso (designer) and Emilia Serra (architect) the association of Analogy Projectwhich led to the creation of the Slamp Domeexperimenting with new visual languages in order to create narrative projects that engage the spectator's imagination.
The relationship with objects, their history and the memories they evoke is thus charged with a strong meaning, in a quest that combines digital experimentation with the craftsmanship of Italian excellence.
Slamp Dome Collection
Like the mythological figure of Medusa, the new collection Dome signed Slamp appears in the form of a Roman dome, with a radial mosaic decorating the design by Analogy Project. The epic face of the daughter of the sea gods is evoked by a pattern that develops over several layers, concealing the LED light source and reflecting the light through a delicate play of colours and transparencies. A reminder of the past and present that synthesises contemporary technologies with artisanal approaches, making each piece unique.
Slamp Charlotte Collection
The world of illusion becomes material with the collection Charlottecreated for Slamp by Doriana e Maximilian Fuskas. The challenge was to transform a two-dimensional element into infinitely multiplying volumes.
The light is reminiscent of the chasing of waves and the transparency of the moment in which they break up. Their breaking up becomes an interminable sea of luminous drops, declined into a multitude of shapes that take shape from a single volume, with a laboured, sometimes impalpable texture.
Like that of the honeycomb, through which one is allowed to penetrate concentric hexagonal shapes to gain a hypnotic and ever new perspective from every vantage point.
