The heavy toll paid by the training during the pandemic found a solution in the massive use of educational platforms, which enabled millions of people not to interrupt their path of personal growth.
The turning point of recent times is called Metaversea shared virtual reality on a worldwide network, which can also be accessed from public terminals. A network of interconnected virtual worlds in which a multitude of people can interact with each other and with digital objects and environments through customised avatars.
The challenge for companies today is all here, in this combination of immersive virtual realitywhich can be accessed through virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) devices.
Second Life is one of the first parallel world experiments to be used by universities and educational institutions for learning purposes.
Among the entrepreneurs who immediately embraced the challenge and potential of the Metaverse is Nicola Carbonaratraining pioneer who, after having established schools in various vocational fields, today announces that it is about to inaugurate its first training academy in the Metaverse. A major project dedicated to training that will be supported by innovative digital technologies.
"We are about to start with a big project related to training - explains Carbonara - a totally virtual school, which will use state-of-the-art solutions to make lessons participative, interactive and collaborative. Not to mention that pupils will be able to enjoy an extraordinary immersive learning experience'.
Formation in the Metaverse will be articulated not only in theoretical lectures but also in specialised practical workshops, simulators of real-life situations, improving and speeding up the learning process. The objective of the vocational training today must be to embrace innovative technologies that help to increase one's skills and competences in order to face the world of work in the best possible way.
Nicola CarbonaraOnce again, he proves to be forward-looking and courageous. His school in the Metaverse represents one of the first revolutionary projects in the educational sector in Italy.

"One cannot remain a stranger to a phenomenon that - despite its explosion in 2018 - today evolves at the speed of light," he says, "counting numerous adhesions from artists, industry insiders, institutions and various platforms. Those who invest in NFT need to know that they are buying an intangible, potentially fruitful asset. In some sectors, such as design, we are giving a lot of space to crypto art,' he continues, 'that is, to all those artistic expressions that involve the digitisation of a physical work or the creation of a digital work. Blockchain systems and NFTs (notfungible tokens) are now an established reality that cannot be ignored. Some of our courses already deal with these issues and use great professionals and artists'.
These include, Andrea Crespi, innovative Italian artist with an established career in the fascinating world of NFT and Alisia Viola, art curator and cultural project manager, member of Italian Art Design, an incubator that generates physical or virtual environments, art and design objects through projects built between tradition and digital.
We met up with them to hear a little about their business and this passion for the art of cryptography.

Interview with Alisia Viola

You have always had a strong passion and love for art. What has your work become to date?
I have always had a strong love for beauty. At a certain point in my life, I realised that I had a particular aptitude for understanding art in general. I decided at that point to continue my education in the humanities and arts, getting closer and closer to contemporary art. I became aware of my role as an art curator, a mediator between the artist and the public. While working in this field, I also started to edit editorial texts, write and invent projects that did not concern art as we have usually understood it for centuries, but also tried to include it in the most diverse areas of our everyday life, as I believe that art is the first universal language of all. My main goal is to make the incomprehensible understood and to accompany - as I grow along with them - artists on their life and artistic journey. NFT and Cryptoart.

How are they revolutionising the art world?
NFTs in the art world are a real revolution in many respects. The most important of all is certainly the use of the blockchain, a control system maintained by thousands of computer terminals in which, as in a kind of large ledger, one can keep track of operations and transactions of various kinds. In the case of crypto art, the blockchain can be used to guarantee the authenticity of the work and to ascertain and store the information thanks to which it is known that a certain work is the original one and that someone is its owner. This is something incredible. At the same time, this new current has changed the figure of the artist, who in addition to taking care of his own production must necessarily also be a manager of himself and his personal brand. Moreover, he must have financial and technological skills of a certain level and is often himself a collector of NFT and cryptoart. This new current also changes the approach towards art. It is a breath of fresh air that revitalises the desire to experiment with new technologies. Eventually, we are witnessing digital art exhibitions and participating in NFT auctions by sitting in the VR room of an online platform.

As an art curator, you will be a lecturer within the first Master's programme in Italy on Crypto art, nft and metaverse. Are you excited about this initiative?
I am very happy about this wonderful opportunity. One of the aspects I love most about my job is precisely that of conveying what I am passionate about and what I am aware of, and I hope to succeed in this new adventure. Theoretical, practical and field lessons are planned, aimed at getting to know and better understand a phenomenon that is rapidly growing. A complicated but at the same time extraordinary universe that opens up numerous avenues for artists, creatives, designers and new professions. I hope to see you in the classroom!

Tell us about your artistic background and what inspired you to create NFT works.
I am self-taught. I started making art because I needed to express myself, I was working as an art director and designer in a creative agency in Switzerland and I always had to follow a brief. I needed freedom. I do art because I want to be free. I want to leave my impact. I have always been curious. Curiosity gives me new challenges. I am experimenting a lot to find new means with which to express myself. I have realised that there is no best medium but there can be the right medium to convey each work. Right now I am working a lot with new technologies to develop my works. 2022 will be the year of my evolution and NFT is part of this process.

One of your most cherished works?
I try not to get too attached to my works, I am very self-critical and always want to evolve. At the moment, a work of which I am very proud is 'The Lovers', which has just been exhibited in the central station of Milan and Termini in Rome, on large digital screens, as part of an art project that questions what we will be like in The work is a modern reinterpretation of the famous painting 'The Lovers' of 1928 by Rene Magritte, an artist I adore and who has always been a source of inspiration for me. There is probably some surrealism in this work, but not too much. The Lovers, one of my latest works, is an NFT that investigates the meaning of love and change projected into the future. It is not just about contrasting lines, there is a sense of precariousness. Destabilising. At the centre of the painting are in fact two lovers - leaning towards each other - in the act of kissing. The two subjects, a woman and a genderless robot, narrate a love that opens up questions about the future and human technological development. Utopia or blasphemy, the conflict between what is visible and what is hidden, the desire to love and the impossibility of doing so.

andrea-crespi-designlifestyleArt is the language through which you are inspired on a daily basis. How did it become your reason for living and your career?
I am working so that my work can remain in time. I don't care if it will be displayed in some private space, in a museum or in a digital space, what I care about is that it has retained its meaning and message over time and that it can reach anyone who can appreciate its meaning. As an artist, I feel the need to contribute with my art to bring people together and give a helping hand to those who need it most. There is a phrase I have always loved: what you give remains yours forever.

What would you like to pass on to the students during the Master's programme in Crypto Art?
Nobody can teach you how to be an artist. It's something you have inside. What I would like to pass on to the kids is my personal and real experience. To share my journey to help them understand how to move in this new environment and reach their goal.
