Abimis Milano Brera-1628

Conviviality becomes an en plein air experience thanks to Abimis. And so, whether it is a scenic villa in Geneva or a summer residence in Mykonosan elegant outdoor version of the Atelier kitchen and the Cooling Station project, they take the lead.
A simple and essential aesthetic, a compact and perfectly equipped solution, ideal for a refined and contemporary design environment. Atelier is here composed of four modules, used as storage compartments plus a small under-counter refrigerator. The top houses the cooking area with grill and sink which, thanks to special covers, can be transformed into practical worktops.
Atelier is entirely produced in AISI 316 steelThis material is perfect for outdoor use, and thanks to the addition of molybdenum is particularly suitable for 'living' in chlorine and salt-rich environments.
Atelier was designed by the homeowner himself together with the Abimis technical department.
His wish was to create a second kitchen, to devote himself to his passion and to be able to spend his free time outdoors.
A holiday atmosphere and a desire to be carefree characterise the Mykonos house, which houses in its charming poolside patio Cooling Station, the new Abimis, an extremely compact block made of AISI 316 steel, consisting of a small basin, refrigerator and ice maker, completed by upper wall units for easy storage of glasses and bottles. Customisable in size and finish - the external surface can, in fact, be painted in polished or matt steel or in any RAL shade, with the same techniques used in the automotive sector - to better adapt to the context that hosts it, the Cooling Station is the perfect solution for all bartenders' dedication.
This new project underlines, once again, Abimis' ability to create tailor-made, customisable solutions to meet any housing requirement and to indulge desires, passions.

Milan
The courtyard of an important late 18th-century building in Brera, a historic and fascinating district located in the heart of old Milan, is transformed into an exceptional showcase for an unprecedented interpretation of Atelier, the iconic Abimis kitchen. Atelier is here proposed in an elegant version with a compact structure, which allows cooking en plein air during the warm season and can be moved to the winter garden of this exclusive home when the first cold autumn weather arrives.
Made to measure, both in terms of size and ownership requirements, Atelier retains its typical square doors and unmistakable essential, rigorous and formal design.
This outdoor proposal is a perfect example of style and design experience, where constructive balances such as stability, robustness and ergonomics are combined with maximum efficiency and functionality. Outdoor cooking thus becomes a surprising project, capable of creating a new experience of contact with nature and a new form of relaxation and conviviality under the open sky.

Napa Valley
The Napa Valley, one of the best wine regions internationally, with its many vineyards and prestigious wineries, gastronomic culture, history, and artistic and cultural events, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in California. An exclusive villa, located in the heart of Napa Valley, surrounded by its rolling hills, features a
special outdoor version of the Atelier professional-derived kitchen, designed and manufactured to meet the needs of the Made in USA kitchen.
Aidlin Darling Design, the studio that designed the Abimis indoor kitchen, also created a second open-air kitchen for the property, again together with Abimis, placing it in the most striking part of the large green space surrounding the house, characterised by an extraordinary view of the area. Made of concrete, the kitchen accommodates grills and barbecues, as in the best American culinary tradition, and is presented as a clean piece of architecture, with essential and rigorous lines, reflecting the typical square design of the Atelier line.
The practical worktop separates the two cooking modes, while the lower part of the kitchen is completed by a spacious open compartment for wood storage and the AISI 304 steel compartments made by Abimis, with anthracite finish doors and large ergonomic handles.

Napa-Valley_1Parma
A few steps away from Parma, a charming country property immersed in a context of great tranquillity and privacy hosts a project that combines cooking and relaxation. With Atelier, this charming terrace surrounded by nature is transformed into a cosy open-air living area communicating, through a large sliding glass window, with the indoor space, a large open space that includes the indoor kitchen and living room.
It is made entirely of stainless steel, an alloy that makes the kitchen resistant to temperature variations, weathering and environmental corrosion damage. Here declined in the sophisticated Scotch Brite finish, steel is the ideal material for outdoor cooking: biologically neutral, and therefore antibacterial, it is hygienic and easy to clean. Made to measure, in response to the desire of owners who wanted a second kitchen that could be lived in during the warm season and that would blend harmoniously into nature, Atelier is a simple and compact solution, only 180 cm long, that accommodates the cooking area, washing area, worktop, two storage compartments and two practical drawers. Retaining the typical square doors, the
recessed plinth and the essential, rigorous and formal design, Atelier is equipped with a practical 30 cm back panel, also in steel, which defines the kitchen and protects the worktop. Functionality, efficiency, comfort and flexibility in space make Abimis' outdoor kitchens easy to use. Each design is thus studied and realised to make the home kitchen a professional workstation, equipped and organised to be equal to all chefs, for passion.

Atelier-outdoor_PantonePatras and Mondello
Two private residences, one in Greece, overlooking the Gulf of Patras, and one in Sicily, in the enchanting setting of Mondello, welcome Abimis' Ego and Atelier kitchens into their respective outdoor spaces, suggesting new possibilities for transferring the versatility and quality of a professional kitchen to the outdoors, and new, often surprising ways of customising open-air scenarios, according to one's own tastes and needs.
Ego, was chosen to furnish the villa in Patras, a modern, small-scale architecture surrounded by a large, shady garden. This cosy and elegant summer residence is mainly outdoors: the interior consists only of a bedroom, complete with a small SPA, and a living area
entirely open to the garden, where the dining area and kitchen are located under a large porch.
Made of steel and customised according to the owners' needs, it is here offered in a hand-orbited finish, a process that reduces the visibility of scratches and fingerprints and gives the kitchen a particularly warm and refined look, ideal for an outdoor solution. The characteristic flush hinged doors are integrated into the structure,
together with the ergonomic handles, recessed plinth and invisible hinges, make Ego a perfect line for outdoor cooking, where dirt and dust lurk with
easier.

The star of the house located a few steps from Mondello's main square, Atelier, here proposed in a striking combination: steel and yellow
lemon, a lively and extraordinarily bright nuance that lends a unique and original character to the kitchen, capable of dictating the style of the space that houses it.
The choice of this shade to 'dress' the kitchen doors, perhaps a tribute to the land of citrus fruits, reveals Abimis' ability not only to customise any
project from the point of view of colour - the external surface can be painted gloss or matt in any RAL shade - but to be able to do so with techniques and materials capable of ensuring the best performance, in terms of durability and resistance. The steel of Abimis kitchens is, in fact, painted with the same techniques used in the automotive sector: after painting, the process includes polishing phases to ensure a uniform result and a colour that is highly resistant to wear.
Tailor-made to meet the desire of owners who wanted a kitchen with professional performance, yet compact dimensions, Atelier is a monobloc unit just 180 cm long that accommodates a cooking area, a washing area, an under-top refrigerator, a storage compartment and two practical drawers. Retaining the typical square doors and the essential, rigorous and formal design, Atelier has been fitted with an orbited steel back panel that, in addition to protecting the work space - the kitchen is set against a perimeter wall of the villa - incorporates a magnetic strip for hanging work tools.
The two outdoor concepts are aesthetically different, but share the same 'heart'. Ego and Atelier are made entirely of AISI 316 steel, a metal alloy that
Thanks to the addition of molybdenum, it is particularly suitable for 'living' in salt-rich environments and makes the kitchen resistant to temperature changes and
bad weather.
Ego and Atelier, in their configurations, they also share the same desire to 'liberate' the concept of the kitchen from its primary function and transform it into a real
complement that furnishes, enhances a space and invites conviviality, in an ideal balance of aesthetics, comfort and performance.
