Fabric-Action

After the great success at the Milan Design Week, the exhibition Fabric-Action came to Palazzo Collicola for the 60th Spoleto Festivalwith 11 projects experimenting with the most innovative uses of the hemp.
Promoted by the Umbria Region and the Polytechnic Foundation and developed by Polifactory with Museo della Canapa di Sant'Anatolia di Narco, Fabric-Action is an experimental project to support the Valnerina, bringing together the work of established as well as emerging young designers.

In addition to promoting the qualities and unadulterated beauty of a centuries-old land, the initiative aims to enhance the creativity and craftsmanship typical of Umbria, between tradition and innovation. At the heart of the work the use of hemp as a raw materialfor a circular and material zero-impact economy that gives life to musical instruments, children's items, furniture, interactive devices for environmental purification and even gastronomic experiences.

Fabric-Action prototypes, exhibited during Milan Design Week at the University of Milan as part of Interior Material Immaterialwere donated by the designers to the Hemp Museum on the occasion of the 60th Spoleto Festival. An event that is part of a territorial branding action aimed at promoting creativity, craftsmanship and innovation.
