Beauty that focuses on the essence and invites you to enjoy the most familiar space par excellence. Contemporary design, essential volumes, precious materials and colours that suggest freshness. This is how it is described Karan, the kitchen designed for Rastelli from Karim Rashid.
A versatile and multiform model, Karan responds to different needs, taste, style and living requirements. The lines, now sinuous and ergonomic, now more rational and rigorous, are the leitmotif of highly customisable models, with modules, wall units and peninsulas, always maintaining a strong visual impact.
The style is extremely minimal, enlivened by original notes of colour. The wall unit is divided into a series of modules and wall units with opaque glass doors on aluminium and Alucobond frames; the white of the former and the light green of the latter creates a delicate contrast that 'lights up' the sobriety of the forms. The top of the work area, in white Corian, is interrupted only to make room for the hob and sink; the snack top in e-wood oak, also useful as a dining table, creates a peninsula with a capacious module that can be used as a countertop as well as a storage compartment.
Completing the composition is a cupboard with coplanar sliding doors in matt lacquered white - in which the tall units for appliances and a pull-out stainless steel top can be concealed - and the PET shoulder system, also in matt white, ideal for creating continuity between the kitchen and living area.
