Lampadari Spinn

Craftsmanship in glass, made of passion and dedication, gives shape to unique objects such as the Spinn Chandeliers.

Barovier & Toso presents Spinn Chandeliers

Specially created by the Murano company Barovier & Toso, which has been experimenting with new glass processing techniques since 1925, this furnishing element now illuminates the large spaces of the Bulgari Hotel in Beijing. The celebrated Chinese hotel, located in the Chaoyang district, is considered a true urban resort. In fact, it rises within a green oasis of tranquillity, in which one can breathe an all-Italian air, since the entire hotel was designed by the architecture studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

The whole is conceived as a true Bulgari jewel, both in terms of furnishings and exteriors. Barovier & Toso realised, as in the past for the Bulgari Ginza Tower in Tokyoa specific supply in which Spinn chandeliers stood out among all the elements.

Romance and elegance

We find Spinn chandeliers in three different rooms: in the middle of the staircase leading to the ballroom is a light and glass installation. Then on the ceiling of the reception area of the Bulgari Spa and the restaurant you can admire two wonderful waterfalls, composed of the constituent elements of the Spinn chandelier. Thanks to the golden colouring and the extraordinary beauty of these works of art, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a magical atmosphere.

These are not objects chosen simply for their beauty. The Spinn was designed and shaped specifically for Dressing the Bulgari Hotel in romance and elegancealways respecting the harmony of the structure. The Italian scent in the structure is the result of the design chosen by the architects, which recalls the tricolour tradition.

Two cultures, Italian and Chinese, coexisting side by side

Hospitality and elegance reign supreme, testifying to how two different cultures can coexist, united by values that find asylum in craftsmanship.

In this particular case, Spinn chandeliers give a unique touch of elegance to rooms, thanks to the design of the shapes and play of shadows. This is possible thanks to the glass processing a balotónThis technique allows several air bubbles to be enclosed at a distance, enclosing them within an additional layer of glass that leaves them clearly visible, forming the inner decoration.

The emotions conveyed are those typical of the Murano tradition, the same tradition that continues to distinguish itself for its passion for glasswork, unchanged over time and still capable, even today, of marrying with luxury brands from all over the world.
