Pedrali helped furnish the restaurant Matter and the bistro The power station on the new campus of SDA Bocconi School of Management. An innovative complex, located in the area of theformer Centrale del Latte di Milanoa technologically advanced and sustainable futuristic structure by the two Japanese archistars Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of SANAA study.
The façades of the buildings, with their sinuous lines, are characterised by transparencies that accentuate the concept of openness and generate a feeling of fluidity between indoor and outdoor spaces. Glass, the protagonist material, is protected by metal surfaces with a visual effect of lightness and suspension. The buildings draw courtyards in the centre, forming a natural environment, while externally they face the city and the park.

The project of the bistro The Central is aimed not only at university staff and students, but also at off-campus guests who can use the restaurant. An environment characterised by spacious indoor and outdoor areas and large perimeter windows, offering a full day service and the possibility of eating from breakfast to lunch and aperitifs.
This environment is furnished by the chairs Nolitadesigned by CMP Design, and the Stylus tables. Nolita is a collection of seating that evokes the origins of a historical journey begun by Mario Pedrali in 1963 with its first metal garden chairs. A chair made entirely of steel characterised by simple and iconic shapes, perfect for moments of conviviality, in line with the Campus philosophy that aims precisely to create a stimulating, comfortable and sharing place.

The Tivoli chair, designed by CMP DesignIt is made of solid ash with a three-dimensional plywood backrest and reproposes the theme of traditional wooden seating while retaining the idea of comfort and conviviality. The Inga chair, on the other hand, with a leather shell, owes its name to Northern European feminine elegance.
