The seating collection for My Home, designed by Alessandro Stabile.
They bear the signature of Alessandro Stabile the chairs of the Riquadra family of My Home. Under the artistic direction of Giulio Iacchetti, the collection winks at shapes, exploring new and unprecedented configurations that are assembled through different geometries.
Three different versions, all with an open-pore lacquered solid ash frame and soft seat in polyurethane rubber and polyester fibre cover that share the same design thinking. In the 'purest' version, the seat becomes a perfect circle that intersects with the backrest, which is square and slightly curved; in the Comfort version, on the other hand, Riquadra is enriched with armrests that reproduce rectangles with rounded corners.
The family is then completed with the Relaxan armless lounge chair with larger dimensions than the other two versions. The 60 cm wide circular shell exhorts comfort, as does the spacious and welcoming backrest.
The result, whichever model you choose, is a formal contrast in which one geometric figure dominates over the other depending on the perspective from which you view it. The Riquadra collection captivates with the versatility of its design and the possibility of customising the fabric upholstery of the seat with an infinite range of colours.
