Nina Moeller Designs, the boutique studio of interior design dedicated to residential and commercial projects with a contemporary approach in both the interior design both in the choice of furniture, has created a new seat designed for outdoor use, made entirely of durable Solid Surface HI-MACS®. It is called OUTDOOR CURVEScan be used either alone or with other elements and was designed for Re:Centre, a unique space dedicated to creativity and well-being, located in the Hammersmith in London. An enveloping seat that expresses a feeling of comfort in an environment that invites rest and relaxation. "The design of this seat is inspired by nature to give a sense of unity," explains Nina Moeller referring to the object's characteristic modularity and curved shapes.
HI-MACS® is the ideal material for this project as it was essential to be able to create the curves of the seat through the process of thermoforming and rely on all the other extraordinary qualities of the latest generation of acrylic stone. HI-MACS® is perfect for outdoors thanks to its extreme resistance to all weather conditions such as rain, wind and sun, its ease of cleaning and repair in case of minor imperfections.
