The IKS line is the first project of Chiara Storari34-year-old designer with a degree in economics and social sciences. After work experience in a carpentry workshop and the study of the main 3D design software (AutoCAD, Topsolid 3D, Wood Professional) collaborated with design studios and design shops, finally launching his first brand in 2017, IKSat the end of a Master in Interior Design followed in Milan at the academy Italian Design Institute.
Today he works as an interior designer at Minarini, in Modena, and with the design studio where he did his master's degree internship.
IKS line: simplicity, concreteness and matter.
The name of the collection comes from the initials and profession of the young designer: Interior designer Chiara Storari (IKS). The line reflects every human being's constant search for a way to express himself through all possible forms - and materials.
Like the woodwarm and vibrant with life, or the metaleasily modelled but resistant to time. It is precisely from the fusion of these materials that the shapes of the IKS line were born: decisive and clear-cut forms, but at the same time pregnant with a hidden sweetness.
The madìa Matièrein corten iron and elm, is suspended on rounded feet, irregular in its geometry, but sinuous thanks to the warm grain of the wood.
The separé Sabliertimeless time: edges smoothed by the passage of years contrast with rectangular panels wrapped in 1960s wallpaper, as if catapulted into an image evocative of the stillness of a classic English tea party.
Wall-mounted bookcases Pendu e Tressage are a mix of old beams, suspended between the past and the present, left untreated and free to tangle in the hardness of woven, raw iron.
Finally, the tables Croquis e Chainmade of living wood planks that hold in their grain inlays of fabric weaves or cement tiles from days gone by.

Introspection and relationship with the other
Design creations that aim at introspection, reflecting on the interaction of the individual with the outside world through love towards another human being, in an encounter between different, even distant personalities.
The IKS line has a simple, timeless and borderless character, which wants to give everyone the opportunity to experience their own personal interpretation of shapes - and of themselves - in their own intimate home.
These are furniture skilfully made by local craftsmento indissolubly link these creations to the passion with which the craftsman works the raw materials.
The line is entirely produced in collaboration with the company Minarini, a dynamic and forward-looking company that believed in the project from the very beginning and was awarded the exclusive rights. It was presented for the first time at Space Houseshop in the centre of Modena, where the pieces that make up the collection are still on display.
The designer plans to continue expanding the IKS line with the creation of new elements, in a constant artistic and personal evolution.
