The Bohem station at Paratico Sarnico: a piece of history

The historical Bohem station in Paratico Sarnico shines with a harmonious synthesis of history, tradition and innovation. Reinterpreting the majestic style of the typical Milanese 1930s mansions in an innovative and imaginative way, without losing the original elegance of the structure, is Ernesto Pigni, scenographer and interior designer who is credited with recovering a historical space such as that of the enchanting Bohem station in Paratico Sarnico, transforming it into a cosy and comfortable place to live.

The intervention involved 3 different activities: the Flower boutique, the Cafeteria and the Confectioneryperfectly harmonised in a unique concept. They contribute to giving a new look to spaces Pedrali chairs, armchairs, tables and outdoor furniture. Each furnishing element responds to a precise need for change, respecting the history and tradition of the place: a mix of innovation and technological research, of avant-garde and elegance.

For the cafeteria and entrance hall were chosen armchairs Tweetversatile and refined, and the Logwith soft and cosy volumes, made of velvet and customised in colour combinations to perfectly harmonise with the surroundings.

Le wireless lamps Giravoltainspired by the lanterns of yesteryear, illuminate the rooms, creating a charming and refined atmosphere, while the faux-marble decoration of the staircase, the graffiti in the atrium, the use of fabrics such as velvet and the choice of colours themselves evoke the splendour of period salons.

It's like living in a Baz Luhrmanngrit on the floors, imposing interior and exterior fixtures, the stone staircase, railings and the height of the ceilings.

Even the outdoor area picks up on the colours of the ancient graffiti on the exterior façade of the station and the retreats, with Pedrali chairs designed for outdoor spaces, with their low backrests made entirely of steel, and with a summery, sunny character.
