Refin Ceramiche

Chromes is the collection signed Refin Ceramics which stems from tireless colour research aimed at enhancing colours within a design project; now available in over 30 colour variants To the delight of designers all over the world, the collection recently saw the updating of 12 of the colours and the introduction of 3 new items.

Cromie is the new collection from Refin Ceramiche

Starting with the NCS notations – Natural Colour System - and following this system of colour sorting and description based on human visual perception, Refin Ceramiche based its choice of colours on the study of hue, clarity and saturation. Such a colour reading made it possible to precisely identify the different shades, enabling architects and interior designers to choose the most suitable finish for their needs.

The colour combinations definable are countless, so much so that the ceramic surface becomes an integral part of the design and the related colour study, generating a virtuous dialogue between the various design elements such as surfaces, fabrics and furnishings.

The collection is divided into 3 families of 9 colours each (Powder, Earth e Mud) and a further series consisting of 3 colours (Trends). Shades are classified horizontally by clarity (lightest to darkest) and vertically by hue (neutral, cool, warm).

Powder shows different shades of grey, both neutral and chromatic, the latter combined with small amounts of blue and red.

Mud has a yellow and red base, with low levels of saturation, as opposed to Earthwhich plays on the same tones, but fuller, warmer.

TrendsFinally, it suggests different colour possibilities in shades of white, brown/reddish and brown/blackish.
