It was presented at the Milan Design City. It is called Square and is the first table of the Riflessi brand with a patented top.
Square is like an organism that adapts and modifies itself according to changes in the environment in which it lives; it was created to harmonise and adapt to domestic spaces, which are often subject to change, requiring flexibility and accommodating the need for practicality.
Its barrel shape, offered in fixed and extendable versions, is the result of the meeting of square and circular shapes, bringing with it the advantages of both.
Square looks like a square table of a classic dining table, while retaining the harmony and cosiness of rounded shapes and the absence of sharp edges. This allows it to be a safe piece of furniture in the presence of small children and at the same time to provide seating at the ends. Riflessi also reinterprets for the new living needs in the proposal of tops with finishes of great aesthetic impact: an absolute novelty, the proposal of wooden tops with a thickness of 20 mm, made of flamed wood veneers with warm natural veins (in marble with the inserts in the extendable version, so as to give continuity to the surface of the top) and obtained by processing FSC® certified wood, that is, coming from forests managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.
These plans are available in the intense finishes Canaletto Walnut and Coke Oak Thermo-treated and will soon be offered by the company for all tables with a central base in the catalogue.
Square is also presented with a top in an elegant matt 'marble effect' ceramic finish, which guarantees extreme scratch and impact resistance, so that the table can be used comfortably as a kitchen island and worktop.
