GOODNIGHT | STYLNOVO
1965
Design Giovanni Luigi Gorgoni
Initially conceived to say good night at the side of the bed, it is in fact an ideal furnishing accessory for any location and environment. The light emerges from a white duplex glass sphere, while the rest of the lamp is made of painted metal. On the truncated cone base are two quarter-shaped caps that rotate around a fulcrum. As in the phases of the moon, the luminous core can be shielded by manually orienting the metal casing, which is available in four different colours.

A lamp that combines pure geometry with playful references. The truncated cone moulded in EPDM (EthylenePropylene Diene Monomer) rubber and available in two colours, meets the sphere of an E27 globe bulb that is an integral part of the design project. By placing the white painted aluminium shade on it, the object is completed without the use of any joint or mechanism. The light is directed at will by moving the metal disc. The positioning of the headpiece gives rise to multiple combinations and lighting effects that can change the character of the Fante.

Design J. De Pas, D. D'Urbino, P. Lomazzi
A collection of lamps designed with the aim of reducing mechanical components in favour of essential geometries assembled without the use of joints and mechanisms. An LED bulb, mounted on an E27 socket, fits in the centre of the aluminium parabola similar to an 'English helmet'. The table version can also be installed on the wall and features a plastic structure with a counterweight crossed by slits placed at different heights. These slits allow the insertion of the parabola and the orientation of the light source both directly and indirectly. The pendant versions are available in two sizes.

A flexuous tube and an adjustable head form the essential components of a collection that has become a symbol of Italian design since the 1970s. The curved lines of the shade represent the very envelope of the traditional light bulb, recalling the image of a friendly mouse. The diffusing cap features five slits that dissipate heat while avoiding direct glare, in keeping with a stylistic-functional choice derived from the automobile industry. A black handle on top of the reflector (mouse tail) allows the light to be directed at will, making the lamp ideal for use on desks, tables and bedside tables.

TRIHEDRAL | STYLNOVO
1970
Design Joe Colombo
The designer, inspired by and observing the lamps used by photographers of the time to control light in the studio, combines the style of industrial design and creates an object of pure geometry connected by mechanical devices. The lampshade, consisting of a metal sheet folded and shaped into three parts that encompasses the luminous body, reflects the light in a glare-free manner thanks to the use of a silver-coloured domed bulb. In addition to the fixed pendant model, the collection includes mobile luminaires that can be adjusted in height and orientation, and are available in free-standing, wall-mounted and clamp-on versions.
