Fabio Novembre is certainly one of the most prestigious signatures of the Italian design.
Designer and architect Multifaceted and instinctive, Novembre likes to describe himself as 'a man of the present'. From the first work of architecture interior design in 1994, Anna Molinari's Blumarine shop in London, Novembre has always collaborated on design projects, exhibition design and events with major international brands such as Cappellini, Driade, Lavazza, the photographer Steve McCurry and Stuart Weitzman.
Novembre became an international benchmark for architecture in his early years. His work with the most important Italian design companies has been recognised and published worldwide, also and above all for his unique and visionary approach. Since 2019 he has been Artistic Director of Driade, Scientific Director of Domus Academy and member of the scientific committee of the Design Museum at the Milan Triennale.
His focus also on fashion and cinema make him not only a great designer but a true artist, in the purest sense of the word, and one who sees design not as a mere profession but as the ability to mould himself into life itself and the world around him. Author of many creations ranging from showroom and boutique designs to highly original furnishing accessories, his most popular creations include 'Nemo', the famous 'anthropomorphic' armchair inspired by the mask theme, and 'Luciola', the lamp in the shape of an antique aviary, both made for Driade. Scrolling down the list of works we find Jolly Rogerthe famous skull-shaped minimalist armchair.
Again, continuing in the vein of originality, particular is the collection of vases 'Green line collection'realised for Bitossi Ceramiche. There are also numerous realisations for Casamania, including the highly appreciated seat 'Abarth Chair' or the 'Joy Baby' or even the chairs 'Him and Her'. He is also the architect responsible for the 'Casa Milan' project in the Portello area of Milan, which houses the headquarters of theMilan Football Association.
His relationship with art is very passionate, intense. A relationship that is immediately apparent in his works, which are capable of extraordinary visual power and at the same time have a simple and immediate aesthetic.
