Coatings of the highest quality made from natural materials, eco-friendly and certified. Wallpapers WallPepper/Group® also have the merit of being able to respond to any design requirement, to achieve an ideal balance between different housing needs and corporate ethical requirements aimed at reducing ecological impact.
Sustainability, quality and attention to detail are in fact the winning features of the products WallPepper/Group®always the result of constant technical and artistic exploration.
WallPepper/Group® produces its graphics relying on its assorted catalogue, and not only that: it is above all able to respond to made-to-measure requests, to designs adapted to the dimensions of the target wall. This is also and especially out of an all-green sense of respect, so that material requirements can be calculated, waste minimised and energy consumption optimised.
The material par excellence, on which the graphics are printed, is environmentally friendly WP/Smooth TNT 100%, composed of cellulose and textile fibres derived mainly from Agave leaves, completely PVC-free, with good mechanical, fire and light resistance. WP/Smooth is odourless, breathable, hypoallergenic and has a strong decorative impact, thanks to its material characteristics that make it extraordinarily velvety to the touch and easy to clean. WP/Smooth is also UL, AgBB and Nordic Swan certified and complies with the Greenguard Children & Schools standard.
Using WallPepper/Group® solutions in building projects - whether commercial or residential - also contributes to the achievement of credits such as, for example, LEED credits, which are necessary for a building to be considered a sustainable and energy-efficient construction, and thus obtain the important LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, one of the most widespread sustainable building protocols worldwide.

A company with a green heart

The company's considerable sustainable commitment is well embedded in the very heart of WallPepper/Group®: founded in 1981 by Diego Locatelli as a laboratory specialising in high-quality photographic printing, the company immediately took a keen interest in how to dispose of the chemicals used in the analogue printing process, with the associated loading and unloading records. This was back in the days when the green sector was still in its infancy. Of particular importance was, for example, the recovery of silver from films, in full compliance with all regulations, with special attention paid to air quality in the work space. This innate aspect has allowed us to develop, over the years, a growing sensitivity to the increasingly discussed and evident environmental issues.
"Care and respect for the environment thus entered into the logic of all productions, even when we decided to start printing wallpapers for the creation of large decorative images using sustainable and certified materials'. This is recounted by Diego Locatelli himself. Dealing mainly with Fine-Art printing, the photo lab has in fact always excluded solvent printing and vinyl materials, in order to use only water-based inks and cotton paper.
"WallPepper®/Group materials comply with international standards for sustainability and end-of-life product reuse, thus providing the designer with certified professional qualifications', confirms again Locatelli. Thanks to WallPepper/Group® wallpapers, it is therefore possible to decorate contemporary environments in a sustainable and conscious manner, and to offer designers certified, high-performance solutions with a unique and extraordinary aesthetic impact. For a final result of great visual impact, versatile and environmentally conscious.
